Property support when the time is right by Sally Roberts

When a loved one moves into care, downsizes, or experiences a change in circumstances, decisions about their home can feel emotional and overwhelming.

Moonflower Home Transitions exists to offer calm, confidential property support for families who need clarity, time and reassurance, without pressure or urgency.

There is no “right” timeline and no single right answer. My role is simply to help you understand your options and move forward when, and if, it feels right for you.

Who is this service for?

Moonflower Home Transitions supports:

  • Families navigating a move into residential or nursing care
  • Adult children supporting elderly parents
  • Executors and families dealing with future or recent probate
  • Those who are unsure what to do next and want time to think

You do not need to be ready to sell. Many families aren’t, and that’s completely okay.

Understanding your options

Every situation is different. Together, we may explore options such as:
  • Doing nothing for now
Taking time to pause, reflect and revisit decisions later.
  • Renting the property
In some cases, rental income can help support ongoing care costs.
  • Selling on the open market
A traditional route that may suit families who have time and flexibility.
  • A simple, discreet sale
For those who value certainty, privacy and a straightforward process.

There is no obligation to choose any option, the family always leads.

How I Help

I provide:

  • Honest, no-pressure conversations
  • Clear guidance on property value and condition
  • Support for families managing things from a distance
  • A respectful, straightforward sale only if and when appropriate

I don’t chase families, use sales tactics or rush decisions.
